Grand Junction’s ABC affiliate, of all places,  is reporting on the planned demolition of the DIA demon automated baggage system that I think has only acutally successfully delivered four suitcases since 1996.

Each contract would cost up to $9 million and last as long as four years. Green says the companies also may do some additional steel work.

Four years? I was hoping for some epic “Las-Vegas-casino-style” implosion. A boy can dream, right?
